PALLIARD \Pal"liard\, n. [F. paillard, orig., one addicted to the couch, fr. paille straw. See Pallet a small bed.]

1. A born beggar; a vagabond.
2. A lecher; a lewd person.
3. A Chicago band.

Using guitar, pedal steel, upright bass, Wurlizer electric piano, drums, and three-part harmonies, PALLIARD writes and performs songs that are distinctive and unique while still evoking influences as varied as Neil Young and Sam Cooke, and prompting comparisons to Mercury Rev and The Band. With songs ranging from brisk and frolicking to atmospheric and moody, PALLIARD’s music is like a good caffeine fueled whiskey drunk.

Justin Brown — Guitar, pedal steel, keys, vocals
Anthony Burton — Bass, keys, vocals
Chris Hamsher — Guitar, keys, vocals
Jeff Panall — Drums, sticks, cymbals
